MAPLEWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) - A Shelby County couple was found guilty Monday of operating a puppy mill.
Dave and Rhonda Auton pleaded no contest to a count of cruelty to animals.
Their son, Adam, pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct.
Rescuers found more than 240 dogs on the Auton's Maplewood, Ohio property back in November.
Investigators say the dogs were living in deplorable conditions and many were sick.
The Autons are expected back in court for sentencing on February 5, 2013.
