Preble man accused of raping a child

EATON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Preble County man is in jail accused of raping a child over the course of five years.
Christopher L. Scott, 38, of New Paris was arrested early Monday morning after the Preble County Sheriff's Office conducted an investigation into allegations against him.
According to Preble County Sheriff Mike Simpson, the victim knew Scott and the abuse was ongoing.
Scott is charged with rape, sexual battery, gross sexual imposition and importuning.
A judge set his bond at $200,000 Tuesday.
