Evidence found in murder suspect's home

EATON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Preble County Sheriff says a key piece of evidence was found inside the home of the suspect in a missing man's murder.  He also revealed late Monday afternoon that the victim, 31-year old Bobby Joe Grubbs, was shot to death.

Grubbs had been missing for more than two weeks when his body w as discovered over the weekend .

The sheriff would not identify the piece of evidence found in Joseph Kutter's home, but did say he'll meet with prosecutors Tuesday morning to formalize charges and get Kutter into court.

The Preble County Sheriff's Office announced that a cadaver dog discovered a body presumed to belong to Grubbs in a wooded area off State Route 40 Sunday.

Deputies arrested the property owner, Joseph Kutter, 78. Kutter is being held in the Preble County jail for murder.

Grubbs' family members said Grubbs was looking for ginseng on Kutter's property.
