EATON, Ohio (WDTN) - Jury selection got underway Monday in a Preble County murder trial.

Joseph Kutter, 78, is charged with murder, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse.

Preble County investigators believe Kutter shot and killed Bobby Joe Grubbs while he looked for ginseng on Kutter's property in June 2012.

Kutter pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Kutter had "no trespassing" signs on his property.  Investigators say there is a long history of trespassing complaints on Kutter's property.
