CAMDEN, Ohio (WDTN) - Water woes plaguing the village of Camden for more than a year may soon be over.
The village council okayed a contract with Reynolds to take care of the township's water.
The company installs and maintains well and treats drinking water.
Government testing last year showed salt leached into the ground, contaminating the village drinking water.
"Reynolds has been the one whose dug our well. They are the ones who got us this far ahead and doing it on good faith. So we signed the contract tonight to ensure them that the money's actually going to them," said Kevin Reed, Camden Village Council.
The water problems have caused some heated discussions.
Reed says he's holding a prayer vigil Sunday at 2:00pm at the water tower.
He hopes residents will come together for the right reasons and not argue anymore.
The following people have recently been booked into Jail. They may not have been convicted of the crimes they are charged with and are innocent until proven guilty.
