BOSTON, Ind. (AP) - A small plane lost power while switching fuel tanks and landed in an eastern Indiana cornfield.

State police say neither the pilot nor the three passengers were injured in the incident Saturday afternoon south of Indiana 122 near Boston, about 70 miles east of Indianapolis.

Twenty-six-year-old John Lewis of Camden, Ohio told police he had just fueled the single engine Piper 235 at the Richmond airport and was taking off when the plane lost power. Investigators say Lewis was trying to switch to the full fuel tank when the plane lost power and was forced to land in the field.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident.
