LEWISBURG, Ohio (WDTN) - A portion of US 40 in Preble County was closed Friday morning after a box truck crashed.

The woman driving told investigators she felt gust of wind and the truck swayed. When she tried to correct, the truck flipped on its side.

The truck was hauling a load of empty gun cases that spilled out onto the road.

The accident happened near the intersection Lewisburg Western Road and it shut down US 40 between there and US 127.  US 40 has since reopened to all traffic.

Troopers said the woman was not injured.
