EATON, Ohio (WDTN) - A traffic stop in Preble County led to a million dollar drug bust.
Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers arrested two California women after seizing 195 pounds of hydroponic marijuana.
The street value of the drugs is a whopping $1.2-million.
Troopers say they stopped a 2009 Winnebago RV for following too close to another car on interstate 70 eastbound, only miles from the state line.
A drug-sniffing canine sniffed out the drugs. A search revealed numerous cardboard boxes in the rear cargo storage area that contained the pot.
The suspects, Araceli Diaz Cruz, 25, and Almeida Maridantia Alexandra, 37, both of California, were charged with possession of marijuana and possession of criminal tools.
Both women are being held in the Preble County Jail. They face up to nine years in prison and a $17,500 fine if convicted.
