KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) - All of the gymnasts at the Performance Gymnastics Academy in Kettering are working hard in hopes of becoming the next Olympian.
"I hope that one day I would make it to the Olympics. I'm going to try, try , try hard. I'm going to work super hard. I'm going to give it 110%," says Grace Tuck.
The Olympics are a way for these young gymnasts to see their role models on a national stage.
"The most important thing as a gymnastics coach, is that they get to see these girls that have been working so hard, like they are and what the end result actually is," comments Lisa Stutz, co-executive director of Performance Gymnastics Academy.
And it means a big boost in business.
"There's decades, decades of a proven bump in enrollment every four years during the summer Olympics and our phone has been very busy over the weekend and we anticipate it will be for some time to come," explains Dan DeClark, co-executive director of Performance Gymnastics Academy.
The Olympians inspire these young gymnasts to reach for the stars....
"I feel that I'm going to be doing that someday so that's why I like watching it," says Bryn Cortez.
