DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Go Red Foundation hosted its 9th annual Go Red Connect audition at the Dayton Mall Saturday afternoon.

The purpose of the organization is to raise awareness about heart disease.

During the casting call, judges, including our own Marsha Bonhart, searched for women of all ages to tell how heart disease has affected their lives, or the life of someone close to them.

Heart disease is the number one killer of women across the U.S.

Saturday's picks will be submitted to the national level. One woman will be chosen to become a national Go Red for Women spokesperson.
