Woman's body found on Christmas Eve

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton homicide detectives were called to investigate after a woman's body was found inside a vacant building on Christmas Eve.

The woman has been identified as 27-year-old LaFrances Golden by the Montgomery County Coroner's office.

Golden's body was found Monday morning inside the vacant house on Ryburn Avenue off Riverside Drive in Dayton.  Dayton police did not release much information to 2 News Monday, other than to say she had been shot.

Neighbors told 2 News Golden has a young child.
