MIAMI TWP., Ohio (WDTN) - Construction equipment sits south of Austin Landing's Kroger and Kohls.  Representatives with RG Properties said they are making room to build new restaurants.

"We have nine acres on the southeast corner for development," said Misty Sirch, who works in management.  "A Panera Bread recently annouced it would be opening here at Austin Landing, as well as an Alligator Annies and Rue Dumaine."

Kroger will be open for business Thursday.  Next door to the market, and two months down the road, you'll be able to rest easy at  the Hilton Garden Inn.  It's March opening marks one year that Austin's Kohls has been in business.

"We are also excited to announce we have 300,000 sq. feet of office space built," said Sirch.

Sirch added RG Properties is very excited Roto-Rooter's world headquarters, a $5.5 million facility will be built across the street from Austin Landing, on the other side of I-75.

"Development of Austin Landing began three years ago," said Sirch.  "Austin Landing has exceeded expectations as far as traffic counts.  Its provided job opportunities.  We are very pleased."
