Two hurt in serious crash

RIVERSIDE, Ohio (WDTN) - Two people were hurt in a nasty crash in Riverside early Thursday morning.

Emergency crews shut down the intersection at Needmore Road and Troy Pike, where they found a mangled car and SUV.

The two vehicles collided just after midnight.

Two people were taken to Miami Valley Hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators told us alcohol may have played a role in the crash.
