DAYTON (WDTN) - A 25 year-old Dayton man was arrested Wednesday morning at a home in the one-hundred block of Bircher Avenue.
Officers were called to the residence after neighbors reported that a man fired a gun outside and then ran back into the home.
When officers went to check it out, they said they found two handguns, crack cocaine, and a small amount of marijuana laying on a coffee table.
There were four people inside the home at the time, everyone except Danny Seiber was let go. Officers said they found ammunition in his pocket.
According to Sgt. Andrew Booher, Seiber has a criminal record that prevents him from owning a weapon.
Police collected evidence at the scene and then called out housing inspectors because of the living conditions.
"The walls are falling apart inside, there's no running water, there's no electricity," said Sgt. Booher. "The only power they do have, is they're running a lamp and a stereo system off a car battery. That's what they're using for power right now".
Officials said they are trying to get in contact with homeowner. If repairs are not made to the home, it could be condemned and torn down.
