HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) - Deputies investigated after some Wendy's employees said three masked gunmen robbed them at gunpoint overnight.
A K9 searched the parking lot of the fast food restaurant on Main Street near Turner Road in Harrison Township some time after midnight.
Just minutes before, two employees and their manager were locking the doors and heading home for the night.
When the manager turned to set the security alarm, three men wearing masks ran up behind the employees who were heading to their cars and pointed semi automatic weapons at them.
One of the employees was taken away on a stretcher, after he hurt himself trying to take off running.
Officials dusted one of the employee's car's for possible fingerprints.
Our crew on the scene also talked with the store manager, Fred Baxley, who said the suspects only made off with some keys and a lighter.
Police arrested Deontay Sherrer, 23 of Dayton, Julian Fletcher, 27, of Dayton, and a 14-year old boy. The three reportedly admitted to the robbery and another one at an Arby's.
If you have any information that might help officials in their investigation, call Crime Stoppers at 222-7867.
