KETTERING., Ohio (WDTN) - A water main break in Kettering forced officials to shut down a major thoroughfare overnight Tuesday, and most of Wednesday morning.
The break happened Tuesday night around 8:00 on Wilmington Pike.
Wilmington Pike between Stroop and Marshall roads was closed to all traffic while crews worked to repair the damage.
Police called in salt trucks because the water was starting to freeze.
The break affected about 100 customers.
