WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The ramps are open, but drivers should be aware that the final stages of Exit 47 construction may cause traffic back-ups and delays.
This week, contractors will be paving the surface on Central Avenue, Dixie Drive, and Manchester Road. City officials encouraged drivers to use alternate routes when possible to avoid unplanned delays.
East bound traffic on East Dixie Drive will continue to be limited to one lane near the northbound I-75 on-ramp until the new East Dixie Drive roadway just east of the bridge is complete. This portion of the project is scheduled to be finished in late September.
A ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of the project will be held in mid-October.
