Warm up big weather story next week

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - You might wake up to a few snow flakes Sunday morning, but the bigger weather story is an upcoming warm-up.

2 NEWS Meteorologist Tara Hastings says a weak front is moving in to the area this weekend that could trigger some scattered flurries late Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Tara says you might see some wet roads, but she expects little or no accumulation.  Of course, you'll want to keep watch of the forecast online for any changes.

The real upcoming weather story is the warmer temperatures.  Tara says a "slow warm-up next week should melt the snow pack."  So, all that snow you shoveled and piled up in the yard should melt away.
