DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Police have made an arrest in connection to a stabbing that occurred Monday morning.
The victim, a 31-year-old Dayton woman, was found underneath the train tressel in the 800 block of Monument Street in Dayton just after 3:30 a.m, bleeding from the head.
She told officers her boyfriend, 43-year-old Eric Cooper, cut her with a pocket knife while the two were fighting.
Cooper was later arrested at East Fifth and Dutoit streets.
When officers approached Cooper, they said he asked, "What did she say I did?".
Cooper was taken into custody without incident and booked on felonious assault charge.
Payton was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
