VANDALIA, Ohio (WDTN) - The Vandalia-Butler School District is asking voters to pass a levy in May.

The school board approved it Monday evening.

It is a 6.99 mill emergency operating levy, which school board officials said will restore some services that will be cut this spring. Those services have not been identified.

The levy will collect $3.9 million, and if approved, will cost the owner of a $100,000 home $214 per year.
