DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Target Dayton Ministries teamed with students from the University of Dayton to serve breakfast Thursday morning.

Target Ministries serves breakfast and dinner to those who need it on a regular basis at the church located at 111 Xenia Ave. in downtown Dayton.

Thursday was special because students were there as part of Dayton's Hunger and Homelessness Awareness week events.  The University's Campus Ministry and Center for Social Concern are sponsoring events Nov. 9-15 to observe Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.

Thursday breakfast served about 150 people.
