DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Students at the University of Dayton are on high alert after multiple campus alerts over the weekend.

Police say early Sunday morning, a student was walking down an alley in the 1600 block of Brown Street when he was approached by three men.

The student told police the suspects pulled a knife and demanded money.

Saturday, a female student was assaulted while walking on College Park Avenue near Holy Angels Church.

No arrests have been made in either case and police are still investigating, but students tell us they still feel safe.

"I don't really find it that unsafe, you know, buddy system," said Sam Hattrup, UD student.

If you have any information regarding either of the incidents, you are asked to contact campus police at 229-2121.
