UD officially opens institute in China

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - University of Dayton representatives traveled to China to open the doors at its newest school.

University officials held the grand opening of the University of Dayton China Institute in Suzhou Thursday.

Engineers, scientists and students will team up with Chinese educational partners for courses and high-tech research projects.

More than 100 people were at the ceremony including former Ohio governor Bob Taft.
