KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) - A trust fund has been set up for the family of a Kettering soldier killed in action.

It is called "CW-3" for Chief Warrant Officer James Groves, III.  You can donate at any Fifth Third Bank branch.

Groves died in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan Saturday, March 16.

He was a graduate of Kettering Fairmont High School.

The trust fund will benefit his wife and two children.
