HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) - A truck driver will spend 90-days in jail for causing a fatal crash in August 2011.

Kevin Rine was sentenced Thursday morning.  He pleaded guilty to avoid a trial.

Police said he was speeding around the corner at Old Troy Pike and Needmore Road when he lost control. His truck tipped over, smashing a car sitting at the red light.

Kristen Ream, of Dayton, was killed. Rine was not injured.

Ream's family was on hand to address Rine as the judge handed down the sentence.
