DAYTON, Ohio (DAYTON BUSINESS JOURNAL) - Dayton Business Journal: Traffic at the Dayton International Airport continues to improve.
The airport posted 124,289 boardings in June, a nearly 3 percent increase compared to the same month in 2011. It also marked the fifth consecutive month of increases.
Delta Air Lines was the biggest gainer last month, reporting a 13 percent increase. Delta also had the highest volume at the airport with nearly 32,800 boardings. US Airways Group had the second biggest increase in traffic with a 10.2 percent hike, followed by American Airlines (9.3 percent) and AirTran Airways (0.4 percent).
