DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - It was a close call for a trucker Tuesday morning on Interstate 75.

Around 4:30, a tractor-trailer lost control on the southbound side near the Third Street exit, crashing through the concrete wall.

Rescue crews worked quickly to stabilize the wrecked semi that was leaking fuel from one of its massive tanks that can hold up to 200 gallons.

As crews drained the remaining fuel, police managed to keep rush hour traffic flowing around the accident scene on a stretch of freeway that handles nearly 110,000 vehicles each day.

Police did not release the name and condition of the driver involved.
