DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Three local men were honored Monday evening for their heroism.

Vectren and the Dayton Dragons paid tribute to Joe Ryan, Jordan Russo and Chris Jurgens during the Dragons' game at Fifth Third Field.

All three helped save a woman who accidentally drove her car off Rip Rap Road into the Great Miami River.

The three men jumped in the freezing cold water on that January day and got Patricia Oliver safely to the bank.

The three men have already received the Huber Heights Civilian Medal of Valor Award.

They were chosen as Dragons' Community All-Stars and presented plaques in between innings.

For more on the Community All-Star program, visit the Dayton Dragons' web site.
