DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - An Oregon District restaurant was the target of a break-in overnight.

Thieves pried open the back door of the Boulevard Haus early Monday morning and made off with the safe.

It was later found, but with all the money missing.

The Boulevard Haus is owned by Eva Christian, who was recently convicted of insurance fraud and is now serving a nine year prison term.

Police are checking the outdoor surveillance cameras of nearby businesses to look for clues.
