DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A teenager was rushed to the hospital Tuesday evening after she was hit by a car.

Officers say she stepped into traffic in the 3600 block of Hoover Avenue around 6:00 pm.

She fell and hit her head, so she was taken to Dayton Children's Medical Center, but we're told she's going to be okay.

The driver will not be cited.
