DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The 17 year old girl accused of asking friends to beat up a boy is speaking out to 2 NEWS.

Those men, Myron Cribbs, 19, and Joseph Anderson, 18, now face charges and so is Kaneesha Howard. She says she never meant any harm.

"I do feel sorry for what I did. I do apologize to the superintendent of Northridge. What I did was wrong," said Howard.

Officials say Howard and the boy got into an argument and they both threatened to call friends into the fight, but her friends are accused of breaching school security at Northridge High School and punching the boy.

Howard says she felt threatened and it just went too far. She says she's not a trouble maker and she feels bad about what happened.

Howard says she's an honor student and hasn't been in trouble before. She is suspended and facing expulsion.

She is also on home detention and has a court date for the end of the month on complicity to assault charges.
