HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) - The city of Huber Heights wants to cut you a break on your taxes.

It is offering a one-time income tax amnesty program from September 25 through October 31, 2012.

Huber Heights residents can file and pay delinquent taxes before the IRS gets involved.

The city plans to compare its tax database with the IRS's numbers later this year. The findings will help pursue non-filing taxpayers.

There will be no penalty if you file before October 31.

You must file a completed return for all the required tax years to participate. Payments of taxes and interest are due at the time of filing.

For more information, visit Huber Height's website .
