KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) - Police shut down a suspected meth lab in Kettering Friday morning.

The Kettering SWAT Team raided an apartment at the Chapel Hill Apartments at 2211-D E. David Rd. around 8:00 a.m.

During the search, officers found methamphetamine and cocaine, as well as chemicals used to make the drugs, according to Officer Ronald Roberts with the Kettering Police department.

Morgan Brewer, 28, was arrested and charged with the illegal manufacturing of drugs, possession of drugs and possession of illegal chemicals.  All three are felony charges.

"We received a tip Brewer was manufacturing drugs in her apartment," said Roberts.  "It ultimately led to the raid."

William Brockman II, 56, was also arrested from the apartment.  Officers said he does not live at the apartment, but was visiting Brewer at the time.  Brockman is charged with misdemeanor drug possession and drug paraphernalia.  He is out of jail after posting bond.

Brewer remains in the Montgomery County Jail.
