HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) - Students at Wayne High School got the chance to vote, even if they're not old enough to affect the presidential election.
The school held a mock election Wednesday to choose who students want in the White House. Their polling place was either a social studies class or at lunch time in the school cafeteria.
"It's something to get the kids excited about the election process. Hopefully, they have done some research and know a little bit about each candidate," said Lenise Knight, Wayne High School.
The votes were officially tallied. No word on which candidate came out on top.
