Storm Team 2: Perfect set-up for fog

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Rain and melting snow are a recipe for fog to form overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning.

Storm Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Brian Davis says mostly clear skies and light winds make for a foggy mix as well. "We could see some dense fog in parts of the area," Davis said.  "Especially in our northern counties where the snow pack is still high."

Fog could be dense in some areas, then give way to a rainy Thursday.  The best chance for rain is after 3:00 pm.

Temperatures should continue to soar over the next few days.  Could we actually hit 60-degrees this weekend?  It is only January, after all.

Find out what Brian has to say on our interactive Storm Team 2 weather forecast pages ... and on 2 NEWS at 10 on Dayton's CW and 2 NEWS at 11.

Then, join Meteorologist Jamie Jarosik for updates from overnight beginning on 2 NEWS Today at 4:30 am.  And, if you haven't checked out Jamie's weather blog , Thursday morning might be the time.
