WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The city of West Carrollton has established storm debris pick-up times for residents.

Bagged storm debris can be placed with trash on the regularly scheduled pick-up day. Larger items will be collected over the course of 3 weeks. Residents are encouraged to cut limbs to no greater than 8 feet and place the debris on the curb for pick-up.

The city of West Carrollton will not be responsible for larger trees that have fallen and residents are encouraged to contact a licensed contractor for disposal of fallen trees.

There will be no delay in trash pick-up as a result of Independence Day, however Rumpke recycling will be pushed back one day.

A bulk trash pick-up is scheduled for the week of July 9, residents may place appliances, carpet, brush, metal or lumber on the curb for their regularly scheduled pick-up. Officials ask that appliances have doors removed from hinges and for brush and carpet to be cut in 3- to 4-foot lengths.

For more information, call (937) 859-8280.
