DAYTON, Ohio (DAYTON BUSINESS JOURNAL) - Dayton Business Journal: Youth soccer is expected to pump as much as $9 million into the local economy during the Labor Day weekend.
Starting Saturday, the 33rd annual Mead CUSA Cup Youth Soccer Tournament kicked off with boys and girls, aged 8 to 14, from more than 500 teams that come from about a dozen states and Canada.
More than 850 games will be played at fields throughout the greater Dayton area including the West Carrollton Soccer Complex, Oak Grove Park in Centerville and Ankeney Soccer Complex in Beavercreek. Championship games will be played Monday at Oak Grove and Ankeney.
