CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) - Snow removal companies around the Miami Valley are gearing up for the wintry weather that forecasters are expecting the day after Christmas.

Ohio Green Works said they are prepared for the snow, sleet , and freezing rain that will be heading towards the Miami Valley Wednesday.

Ohio Green Works crews stated the last time they plowed the streets was January 2011.

When the storm hits, crews will work to keep parking lots, sidewalks, streets, and driveways clear.

The company said they will put down salt and will plow anything over two inches.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the entire viewing area from 1 a.m. Wednesday until 1 a.m. Thursday.

For Ohio Green Works services, call 937-608-0732 or visit their website .
