DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Snow showers slowly dropped a fresh coat across the Miami Valley Wednesday evening.
It was just enough to make some roads slick, forcing drivers to slow down.
Storm Team 2 Chief Meteorologist, Brian Davis, said, "Most areas saw less than an inch, but still enough to make for some slick conditions. We should just see some flurries from here on out."
The Ohio Department of Transportation spent Wednesday treating roads to combat any serious issues.
The temperatures continue to be well below normal, but a slow warm-up is expected into the weekend.
Our next shot at some snow is Friday. We could once again see some small accumulations.
The Purple Passion 5K run/walk was held at Shawnee Park Saturday afternoon.
