Smoke fills factory; employees evacuate

HARRISON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) - A Harrison Township industrial facility was evacuated early Friday morning after it filled with smoke.

It happened just before 2:00 at BarSplice Products at 4900 Webster Street.

The company makes reinforcing rods for concrete construction.

Initial reports indicate workers evacuated after the cafeteria filled with smoke.

No injuries were reported.

Investigators have not said what caused the smoke.
