RIVERSIDE, Ohio (WDTN) - The National Museum of the United States Air Force is just days away from getting a highly anticipated new exhibit.

The space shuttle crew compartment trainer was loaded onto NASA's Super Guppy aircraft Monday in Dallas and is scheduled to arrive here Wednesday, August 22.

Museum Director, Retired Lieutenant General Jack Hudson, tells us once the trainer is in place, ramps will be built to allow access, along with a learning node that holds 60 people.

The museum has spent days moving around current exhibits to make room for the trainer.
