DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Two men with gunshot wounds show up at two different Dayton hospitals and now police are trying to figure out if the incidents are connected.

Police say around 10:00 Tuesday night, a man showed up at Grandview Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his shoulder.  Police say he was driving a car that had bullet holes in the trunk and windows.  He reportedly told police a man in a Ford Explorer blocked his Chevy Impala at the intersection of Five Oaks and Richmond,  got out of the car and started shooting.

About five minutes after that shooting victim showed up at the hospital, another man came to Miami Valley Hospital with a gunshot wound to his thigh.  He reportedly told police he was shot at the intersection of Dennison and Weaver but police say they didn't find any evidence of a shooting there.  Police now believe that man shot himself in the leg on accident.

Both of  the men have non life-threatening injuries.

Police say because the shootings happened so close together in time, they may be linked.

Police say there was at least one other man in the Chevy Impala who witnessed the shooting.  They are interviewing him.
