DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Homicide crews were investigating a shooting Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were called to Good Samaritan Hospital around 4:00 p.m. after a shooting victim was dropped off by several men in a Buick model car.

Police say the 19-year old victim was shot minutes earlier near West Second Street and North Decker Avenue.  Investigators say he was sitting inside a car in the 3500 block when shots were fired through the roof, hitting him in the back.

The victim was listed in serious condition at Miami Valley Hospital Tuesday evening.

Police are searching for the suspect.
