DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A group of kindergartners got new shoes Thursday in an effort to make their mark on the future.
The East Dayton Optimists Club handed out shoes to 64 students at Wright Brothers School in Dayton early Thursday morning.
This is the fourth year the group has given brand new shoes to young students. Every year, the organization picks a new school to visit, and this was the first time at Wright Brothers.
