DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Finding a former funeral director accused of fraud is proving to be a challenge.

The US Marshals have now joined the search for Scherrie McLin.

A warrant was issued for her arrest February 12, 2013 after she was indicted for fraud and other charges.

Prosecutors say McLin took more than $200,000 worth of pre-paid funeral money, but never fulfilled her obligations.

They say more than 50 families were affected over a 20-year period.

McLin was last in the news when a cleaning person discovered urns inside a property she owned in Dayton.

No criminal charges were filed in that case.
