DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A former Dayton funeral director was released from jail.

Scherrie McLin spent about two weeks behind bars before posting a $250,000 cash bond Friday.

She is accused of taking money from more than 50 families for funeral services she never completed.

Investigators say McLin took about $200,000.

McLin's Funeral Home was shut down and her license revoked in 2011.

She faces 17 felony counts.
