Ruptured water main clogs Kettering street

    KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) - County and city water and street crews are out working on a broken water lines today.

    One break on East Bataan Drive in Kettering resulted in a hole big enough to close the street until repairs were made.

    With a pattern of freezing and thawing temperatures, it is the season for water main breaks in Ohio.

    Last week in Kettering, one line under Wilmington Pike ruptured twice in as many days.

    The number to report water main breaks for Montgomery County is 781-2680.
