DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The ramp from SR 4 southbound to I-75 southbound will be closed beginning Friday, September 14, at 10 pm, announced officials with the Ohio Department of Transportation on Wednesday.

The construction work will create a 24 hour a day ramp closure. The affected ramp is scheduled to reopen to motorists Sunday, September 16th at 6 am.

This ramp closure is due to a contractor working on a bridge in that area.

The official detour during this ramp closure is: SR 4 south to I-75 north to Stanley Avenue to I-75 South. Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming closure.

Law enforcement will be on hand to monitor traffic flow. All work is weather permitting.
