BELLBROOK, Ohio (WDTN) - A sneak peek of Restaurant Week Wednesday night had much more at stake than a good meal.
The community gathered at Watson's in Centerville to help raise money for Skylar Kooken's family.
The 16-year old Bellbrook teen was killed in a November car crash. Two of her friends were also killed.
A raffle raised money for the Skylar Kooken Memorial Fund.
"We as an organization feel really bad for her and if there's anything we can do to kind of help, this is one of the things," said Amy Zahora, Miami Valley Restaurant Association.
Organizers hope to raise $1,000.
Restaurant Week is set for January 27 through February 3. You can select meals from three different price points at participating restaurants.
