KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) - A local reentry program wants to make sure area children have a happy holiday.

The Circle of VisionKeepers and Two Tree Inc. provided gifts for children with parents that have issues with addiction and served prison sentences.

Presents were given away at the "Time to Be Thankful and Grateful Event" on Woodman Drive Saturday afternoon.

Kiwanis Club of Dayton, Advocates for Basic Legal Equality & Legal Aid of Western Ohio, and Lajna Imaillah Dayton, as well as folks from the community contributed to Saturday's event.
